I prioritize everything I earn for Carlo and my <strong data-start=\"702\" data-end=\"710\">son<\/strong>. We are not married, but we have a <strong data-start=\"754\" data-end=\"779\">two-year-old<\/strong> son\u2014and he is my world.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"1131\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">At first, everything seemed fine. He always said: <em data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"928\">\u201cEven though we are not married, I will take care of you and the baby.\u201d<\/em> I believed his words. I held on to his promise <strong data-start=\"993\" data-end=\"1023\">that he would never abandon us<\/strong>. But then came a series of <strong data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1069\">payments<\/strong>. <strong data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1093\">sales<\/strong>. We had no savings, and we were short.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1485\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Due to the emergency, <strong data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1178\">I borrowed money<\/strong>. Only once at first, but I had to borrow again to pay off the previous debt. Until I was completely broke. Until one day, Carlo came and told me: <em data-start=\"1739\" data-end=\"1820\">\u201cMy only obligation is to our son. It's not my fault that you're drowning in debt.\u201d<\/em> After he said that, he left. He went home to his mother and left my son and me.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1910\" data-end=\"2263\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">I felt like I was falling apart. Not just because he left me, but because <strong data-start=\"1970\" data-end=\"2030\">at my lowest point, he chose to turn his back<\/strong>. It hurts to think that with all the promises he made, that's the only way it would end. I was left, with my son, carrying all the <strong data-start=\"2177\" data-end=\"2198\">debts and problems<\/strong>. I felt the weight of the world as if I didn't want to breathe.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2265\" data-end=\"2582\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">But even though it hurts, even though it's hard, I thought: <em data-start=\"2314\" data-end=\"2342\">I can't give up.<\/em> I have a child who depends on me. I have a small business\u2014even though it's weak, I can still make it work. No matter how many times I fall, I have to get up. Not just for myself, but for my child who doesn't know.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2584\" data-end=\"2889\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Until now, I still carry the pain of when he left me.
