The operation was initiated as an entrapment against possible corruption but uncovered a more serious crime.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"980\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to the report, LTO enforcers have offered to adjust the <strong data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"708\">PHP 200,000<\/strong> fine to just <strong data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"735\">PHP 25,000<\/strong>. They also have an alternative \u201c<strong data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"779\">butaw<\/strong>\u201d or monthly payment: <strong data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"822\">PHP 1,000 per unit<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"840\">PHP 2,000<\/strong> for green plate vans.
