I'm Yna, <strong data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"593\">24 years old<\/strong>, and I have a boyfriend who I've been in a relationship with for 3 years. We're doing well and are happy, but I don't know if his family\u2014especially his mother and sister\u2014accepts me.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"1137\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Her sister is <strong data-start=\"801\" data-end=\"832\">thin, fair, and tall<\/strong>. She hardly eats meat or oily food, only vegetables and fish. Because of that, her <strong data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"942\">waistline<\/strong> is small and she is always sent to <strong data-start=\"975\" data-end=\"993\">school pageants<\/strong>. She also takes great care of her skin, using all kinds of soaps and lotions. That's why she seems to be the standard of beauty for their family.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1139\" data-end=\"1690\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Every time I'm at my boyfriend's house, I can't escape his mom's <strong data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1222\">comments<\/strong>. She says I've <strong data-start=\"1253\" data-end=\"1263\">gained weight<\/strong>, I have <strong data-start=\"1277\" data-end=\"1287\">belly fat<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1291\" data-end=\"1302\">pimples<\/strong>, and I'm not pretty because I'm not <strong data-start=\"1347\" data-end=\"1357\">white<\/strong> and I don't have a <strong data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1393\">pointed nose<\/strong>. She even asks why I look <strong data-start=\"1432\" data-end=\"1440\">black<\/strong> now. My height is <strong data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1480\">5\u20196\u201d<\/strong> and my weight is <strong data-start=\"1502\" data-end=\"1510\">57kg<\/strong>\u2014my <strong data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1529\">BMI<\/strong> is normal! Yes, I have a little belly fat, but not too much. I am a <strong data-start=\"1599\" data-end=\"1609\">morena<\/strong>, I don't use <strong data-start=\"1630\" data-end=\"1639\">gluta<\/strong>\u2014I only use sunscreen and <strong data-start=\"1658\" data-end=\"1674\">Silka lotion<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1692\" data-end=\"2065\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Actually, I'm not ugly. There were a lot of people who liked me before, and my boyfriend himself saw that I was pretty. But whenever I was at their house, they seemed to look down on people like me, a <strong data-start=\"1865\" data-end=\"1875\">brunette<\/strong> with <strong data-start=\"1910\" data-end=\"1920\">baby fats<\/strong>. For them, <strong data-start=\"1963\" data-end=\"1971\">sexy<\/strong> was someone who was extremely <strong data-start=\"1988\" data-end=\"1997\">skinny<\/strong>. That's where it gradually hit me\u2014my <strong data-start=\"2044\" data-end=\"2059\">self-esteem<\/strong> was going down.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2579\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">I didn't want to go to their house when their mom and sister were there because I was so insecure. I really wanted to avoid them because I couldn't stand the constant judgment. But because <strong data-start=\"2266\" data-end=\"2295\">I love my boyfriend<\/strong>, I endured it. I didn't want to get to the point where we would fight just because of this. I went to the gym, although not regularly because I was busy with work. Even when I asked my boyfriend if I was fat, he always said no, and our friends even said that I was <strong data-start=\"2560\" data-end=\"2568\">sexy<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2581\" data-end=\"2949\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">But I can't hide it\u2014<strong data-start=\"2603\" data-end=\"2621\">I'm hurting<\/strong>. I'm so affected by his mom's words. It feels like no matter what I do, I won't be enough for them.
