This aims to hold individuals or groups using the program accountable for <strong data-start=\"481\" data-end=\"506\">illegal transactions<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"511\" data-end=\"784\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to <strong data-start=\"520\" data-end=\"534\">Rey Bale\u00f1a<\/strong>, acting vice president for corporate affairs, the new unit focuses on <strong data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"645\">protecting member funds<\/strong> and filing cases against those proven to be involved. This includes the <strong data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"754\">Yakap sa Kalusugan program<\/strong> of which GAMOT is a part.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"786\" data-end=\"1066\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">To ensure that members are <strong data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"822\">real and alive<\/strong>, registration at Yakap clinics is conducted using the <strong data-start=\"903\" data-end=\"918\">eGov PH app<\/strong> connected to the <strong data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"957\">National ID system<\/strong>. There is also a stricter <strong data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1035\">verification process at the point of service<\/strong> to prevent fraud.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1328\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Bale\u00f1a called on all members to immediately report any <strong data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1163\">fraudulent activities<\/strong> against PhilHealth programs. Under the <strong data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1231\">GAMOT program<\/strong>, members can get up to <strong data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1325\">\u20b120,000 worth of 75 types of drugs per year<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1330\" data-end=\"1504\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Currently, there are <strong data-start=\"1355\" data-end=\"1388\">8 accredited GAMOT facilities<\/strong> in Metro Manila and <strong data-start=\"1408\" data-end=\"1443\">24 pharmacies and drug stores<\/strong> currently applying to be accredited in the program.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang PhilHealth ay nagbuo ng isang espesyal na Anti-Fraud Unit para mag-imbestiga sa maling paggamit ng GAMOT program o Guaranteed and Accessible Medications for Outpatient Treatment.
