Consuelo, Macabebe, he was suddenly <strong data-start=\"737\" data-end=\"758\">stabbed in the back<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"790\">beaten with a gun<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"992\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">While still holding the gun, the driver managed to steer the vehicle into a <strong data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"897\">electricity pole<\/strong> to call for help. This brought him to the attention of residents and barangay officials.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1182\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The suspects fled and hid in the grass but were quickly tracked down by residents and reported to the Army detachment. A <strong data-start=\"1146\" data-end=\"1164\">replica pistol<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1179\">grenade<\/strong> were recovered from them.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1184\" data-end=\"1410\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The suspects are currently in police custody and are facing charges of <strong data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1279\">carnapping<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1306\">frustrated homicide<\/strong>.
