This happened on August 15, where both victims were shot and killed, and their money and belongings were taken. According to the report, <strong data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"643\">2 suspects<\/strong> have been identified and arrested, and to the surprise of many, one of them is the <strong data-start=\"697\" data-end=\"711\">tour guide<\/strong> who is an acquaintance of the victims.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"1196\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The two victims were a <strong data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"784\">41-year-old<\/strong> from <strong data-start=\"790\" data-end=\"802\">Shizuoka<\/strong> and a <strong data-start=\"812\" data-end=\"824\">53-year-old<\/strong> from <strong data-start=\"830\" data-end=\"841\">Fukuoka<\/strong>. They had come to Manila for vacation and were staying at a hotel near the scene. As they were getting out of a <strong data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"981\">white taxi<\/strong>, they were suddenly approached by armed men and opened fire. They were killed instantly and robbed of valuables, including money estimated to be worth approximately <strong data-start=\"1181\" data-end=\"1193\">\u20b1300,000<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1198\" data-end=\"1485\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">CCTV footage showed that after the shooting, the perpetrators quickly fled on a motorcycle. The entire incident lasted only about a minute. Police also found a motorcycle that matched the one seen on camera, which they later confiscated.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1487\" data-end=\"1703\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">According to residents, the suspects may have been in position hours before the crime. They were later identified and arrested, including the tour guide who was also with the victims before they were shot.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1943\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Due to this incident, the <strong data-start=\"1754\" data-end=\"1774\">Japanese Embassy<\/strong> issued a warning to their compatriots in the Philippines.
