data-end=\"523\">escalator<\/strong> malfunctioned at the <strong data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"548\">LRT-1 FPJ Station<\/strong> in Quezon City on Friday.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"760\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to the <strong data-start=\"592\" data-end=\"631\">Department of Transportation (DOTr)<\/strong>, one of the injured was taken to the nearest hospital for <strong data-start=\"701\" data-end=\"714\">examination<\/strong> and was immediately <strong data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"741\">released<\/strong> after treatment.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"954\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The <strong data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"788\">six other passengers<\/strong> were given <strong data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"823\">first aid<\/strong> at the station. <strong data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"877\">DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon<\/strong> said that the victims were immediately assisted and the damaged escalator was repaired.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1115\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Dizon added that the agency will continue to work with train operators to prevent <strong data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1099\">similar incidents<\/strong> in the
