We both graduated from college but right now, <strong data-start=\"642\" data-end=\"649\">I'm the only one who has a job. <strong data-start=\"672\" data-end=\"686\">My salary is just right<\/strong> and I still have loans to pay off. He is still in <strong data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"778\">training<\/strong> to get on the ship, and I know he is going through a difficult time as well.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"857\" data-end=\"1157\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">I would like him to ask his parents for at least <strong data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"933\">\u20b1500\u2013\u20b11,000 allowance per week<\/strong>. <strong data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"960\">I don't want him to work right now because I want him to be able to rest after <strong data-start=\"1038\" data-end=\"1060\">8 hours of training<\/strong>. We have a <strong data-start=\"1066\" data-end=\"1078\">sideline<\/strong> every Sunday but that's still not enough for his daily expenses.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1159\" data-end=\"1686\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">We also have a motorbike <strong data-start=\"1181\" data-end=\"1198\">under my name<\/strong> that we took for his service because there is no public transportation passing through his workplace. I pay the monthly amortization from my earnings every Saturday. But the most painful thing for me, sometimes <strong data-start=\"1426\" data-end=\"1449\">he doesn't eat<\/strong> just to save money, and he doesn't want to accept it even if I give it to him. He says he doesn't want to ask his parents because they have <strong data-start=\"1585\" data-end=\"1612\">a lot of debt<\/strong>. But when his other siblings ask, <strong data-start=\"1657\" data-end=\"1683\">they get it right away<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1688\" data-end=\"2249\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">I really see how <strong data-start=\"1717\" data-end=\"1727\">unfair<\/strong> his family treated him. During his graduation, we only ate at the <strong data-start=\"1789\" data-end=\"1807\">foodcourt<\/strong>, but when his nephew was baptized, there was <strong data-start=\"1862\" data-end=\"1872\">lechon<\/strong> and a feast. He was the <strong data-start=\"1900\" data-end=\"1921\">most responsible<\/strong> of the five siblings, but he was also the <strong data-start=\"1965\" data-end=\"1989\">always forgetful<\/strong>. He wasn't even given a phone \u2014 he made everyone <strong data-start=\"2040\" data-end=\"2061\">work hard<\/strong>. After college, his parents did not help him with his <strong data-start=\"2132\" data-end=\"2150\">apprenticeship<\/strong>. Instead, they kept him in the bakery for a year even though they could provide support.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2251\" data-end=\"2663\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Now, even though I want to insist that he ask for <strong data-start=\"2302\" data-end=\"2320\">a little help<\/strong> from his parents, <strong data-start=\"2344\" data-end=\"2357\">we fight<\/strong> whenever I bring it up. I don't do it for myself. <strong data-start=\"2431\" data-end=\"2438\">Me, I can barely sleep thinking about <strong data-start=\"2474\" data-end=\"2490\">side hustles<\/strong> just to help him. Even if it's just a small thing from his parents, I want him to feel that <strong data-start=\"2595\" data-end=\"2617\">he's not alone<\/strong>, that someone besides me is supporting him.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2665\" data-end=\"2969\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">I don't know if I'm being a bad girlfriend if I insist on this. I just want to help her and make her feel <strong data-start=\"2795\" data-end=\"2812\">important<\/strong> to her family.
