No one helped her, but she didn't give up. She educated herself by working. And yes, she was forced to work as a GRO at a well-known and well-established club. She doesn't go out with customers, and she really only does her job there. When my parents found out about Lorna's job, they immediately objected to our relationship. To them, Lorna was not worthy of being part of our family. No matter what explanation I gave, no matter how much I said that she was a good person and had pure intentions, they were closed-minded. All they wanted was for me to end our relationship.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-4665de17\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-4665de17\"><p data-start=\"1418\" data-end=\"1916\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Lorna and I are both 25 years old. We are no longer at the age where we need to rely on our parents' decisions, but I still love my family. I don't want the day to come when our relationship is ruined just because of my decision. But, on the other hand, I know in my heart that I will never find anyone like Lorna. Of all the women I have met, she is the only one who truly understood and loved me completely, not because of money or looks, but because of who I really am.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-e6ec8dcc\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-e6ec8dcc\"><p data-start=\"1918\" data-end=\"2255\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">This is the question that keeps bothering me every night\u2014will I choose my love for Lorna, or will I follow my parents' wishes? It's not an easy decision, especially since I know that no matter what I choose, someone will get hurt. But if love is true and pure, should it really be given up?<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-70d78a6c\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-70d78a6c\"><p data-start=\"2257\" data-end=\"2716\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Someone told me that if I really loved Lorna, I should fight for her. I don't have to cut off my relationship with my family, but I can show them that they are wrong about her. Respect and trust, sometimes, are not given immediately\u2014they have to be proven first.
