Princess Abante<\/strong>, the House followed the proper impeachment process based on the <strong data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"630\">Constitution<\/strong> and previous rulings of the <strong data-start=\"653\" data-end=\"670\">Supreme Court<\/strong>. She added that the House respects the court but is concerned about the decision.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"946\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"928\">\u201cThe House, after studying the case, will file an appeal because the SC decision is based on false information and contrary to the official record,\u201d Abante said.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"1325\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"1076\">The SC's claim that the House did not approve the sending of the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate is also not true.<\/strong> <strong data-start=\"1093\" data-end=\"1126\">Majority Leader Mannix Dalipe<\/strong> explained that on February 5, 2025, the motion to send it to the Senate was passed in plenary after obtaining signatures from <strong data-start=\"1243\" data-end=\"1276\">1\/3 of the members of the House<\/strong>, thus immediately forming a panel of prosecutors.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1613\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1448\">On the same day, the House also archived three previous impeachment complaints filed in December.<\/strong> According to the Constitution, once enough signatures are obtained, they are automatically considered <strong data-start=\"1537\" data-end=\"1564\">Articles of Impeachment<\/strong> and must be sent to the Senate for trial.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang Kamara ay maghahain ng motion for reconsideration laban sa desisyon ng Supreme Court (SC) na nagsasabing unconstitutional ang impeachment case laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.Ayon kay House Spokesperson Atty.
