My parents even said that he might be the one for me.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"1158\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"930\">The problem is, I don't have feelings for him.<\/strong> No matter how many times we meet, no matter how much effort my parents make to develop us together, there's really no spark. I don't like him, I don't love him, and I can't see myself in a relationship with him.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1160\" data-end=\"1502\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">But my mom and dad always remind me to give him a chance. They say there's nothing to lose if I try. I understand that they just want me to be happy and secure in life, but for me, I shouldn't force myself if I don't have feelings. <strong data-start=\"1465\" data-end=\"1500\">Love, that's not forced.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1806\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Sometimes I feel like I'm losing control of my own life. It's like I can't choose who I want to be with anymore. I don't want to hurt my parents, but I also want to be true to myself. I don't want a relationship that feels like an obligation, because I know it won't last.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1808\" data-end=\"2184\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1808\" data-end=\"1850\">I plan to talk to them calmly.<\/strong> I won't fight them, but I will explain clearly that I understand their concerns. I will say: <em data-start=\"1959\" data-end=\"2065\">\u201cI don't want to fool myself or him. A relationship won't be happy if only one person wants it.\u201d<\/em> I will add assurance that I have confidence in myself and know that the right person will come along at the right time.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2186\" data-end=\"2465\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">And even though I don't like what they're introducing me to, <strong data-start=\"2234\" data-end=\"2261\">I won't disparage him.<\/strong> It's not his fault. He's a good person, but he's not for me. What's important is that I still be respectful to my parents and show that I can make decisions for my own happiness.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2467\" data-end=\"2689\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">In the end, I know that I have the right to choose who I love.
