The incident occurred on Sunday night and went viral on social media.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to the LTO statement, they issued a <strong>show-cause order<\/strong> to the driver and asked him to explain why his license should not be revoked. In the viral video, the driver can be seen forcing passengers to get out of the vehicle and brandishing a <strong>knife<\/strong>, threatening to stab them.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The LTO said the driver's behavior was caused by a \"minor misunderstanding,\" but LTO chief Greg Pua Jr. called it \"unacceptable.\" Now, the driver is facing several complaints.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The agency also asked the registered owner of the vehicle to explain why he or she should not be held responsible for the incident, and the vehicle was placed under \u201calarm.\u201d Passengers reported the incident to the ride-hailing firm via email and the InDrive app, and they are still awaiting a response from the company.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) ay nag-suspinde ng 90 araw sa lisensya ng isang driver ng ride-hailing na nahuling nagbanta sa kanyang mga pasahero gamit ang bladed weapon matapos ang isang hindi pagkakaintindihan tungkol sa destinasyon.
