The accident occurred on <strong data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"506\">Sunday afternoon<\/strong>, where <strong data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"528\">the victim was dragged<\/strong> for about four meters.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"815\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to DOTr Secretary <strong data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"616\">Vince Dizon<\/strong>, they will also issue a <strong data-start=\"641\" data-end=\"661\">show-cause order<\/strong> for the <strong data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"689\">bus operator<\/strong>. The <strong data-start=\"705\" data-end=\"717\">53-year-old<\/strong> woman was immediately taken to the hospital but <strong data-start=\"751\" data-end=\"772\">died<\/strong> due to <strong data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"803\">serious injuries<\/strong> to the body.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"997\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Based on initial <strong data-start=\"833\" data-end=\"850\">investigations<\/strong>, the bus reportedly lost its <strong data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"876\">brakes<\/strong>, causing it to <strong data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"905\">reverse<\/strong> out of control. It hit an <strong data-start=\"945\" data-end=\"952\">SUV<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"970\">motorcycle<\/strong> before hitting the victim.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1130\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">But according to some <strong data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1031\">eyewitnesses<\/strong>, the bus was backing up so fast and <strong data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1057\">it was plunging<\/strong> that people <strong data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1099\">ran<\/strong> away from the area.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1132\" data-end=\"1305\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The driver is now in the custody of <strong data-start=\"1151\" data-end=\"1164\">QCPD Traffic Sector 5<\/strong> and may be charged with <strong data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1304\">reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and multiple damage to property<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang driver ng bus na nakabangga sa isang tindera sa Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City ay sinuspinde na ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) sa loob ng 90 araw.
