In addition, OGTA can only be used for <strong data-start=\"866\" data-end=\"898\">six hours per day<\/strong>, and if used excessively, there will be a <strong data-start=\"961\" data-end=\"996\">24-hour \u201ccooling-off\u201d period<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1273\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1038\">Loans will also not be allowed<\/strong> on the same app once OGTA is activated. <strong data-start=\"1088\" data-end=\"1114\">Biometric verification<\/strong> using the face is one of the requirements before accessing the service. The user also has the option to set their own limit on time and money that can be transferred.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1597\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1343\">Employees of financial institutions<\/strong> are also prohibited from participating in online gambling to maintain public trust. <strong data-start=\"1420\" data-end=\"1450\">Online gambling operators<\/strong> must be <strong data-start=\"1460\" data-end=\"1485\">fully licensed<\/strong>, have <strong data-start=\"1491\" data-end=\"1513\">clear ownership<\/strong>, and comply with <strong data-start=\"1531\" data-end=\"1562\">anti-money laundering rules<\/strong> before partnering with banks.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1599\" data-end=\"1843\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">When fully implemented, the new policy will be effective <strong data-start=\"1664\" data-end=\"1694\">15 days after publication<\/strong>, and PSPs will have <strong data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1717\">6 months<\/strong> to <strong data-start=\"1736\" data-end=\"1747\">comply<\/strong> with the rules or <strong data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"1793\">face suspension<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1797\" data-end=\"1842\">fines of up to P1 million per violation<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) ay naglabas ng draft circular na naglalayong higpitan ang online gambling payments sa mga digital platforms.
