According to Hontiveros, Maurillo accused him in a Facebook video of allegedly paying him <strong data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"644\">P1 million<\/strong> to defame <strong data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"679\">Apollo Quiboloy<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"1002\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Also included in the complaint is the person behind the YouTube channel <strong data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"768\">\u201cPagtanggol Valiente\u201d<\/strong>, which was created on <strong data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"803\">June 24<\/strong>. The senator explained that this was just a day after Maurillo contacted her office to ask for help, allegedly because he was being held in Glory Mountain by Quiboloy's group.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1224\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Hontiveros stressed that as an official, he accepts the criticism but will not allow malicious lies to spread. He said that the target is not only him but also witnesses, staff, and the Senate.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1441\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Also indicted are <strong data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1278\">Trixie Cruz-Angeles<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1293\">Jay Sonza<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1295\" data-end=\"1311\">Krizette Chu<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1313\" data-end=\"1327\">Sass Sasot<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1329\" data-end=\"1359\">Banat By (Byron Cristobal)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1361\" data-end=\"1375\">Tio Moreno<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1380\" data-end=\"1403\">Atty. Ranny Libayan<\/strong>, who shared Maurillo's video.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1443\" data-end=\"1790\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">In a separate video, Maurillo said he was not intimidated or kidnapped by the <strong data-start=\"1519\" data-end=\"1546\">Kingdom of Jesus Christ<\/strong>. Hontiveros showed screenshots of Maurillo's emails from <strong data-start=\"1618\" data-end=\"1636\">December 2023<\/strong>, in which he repeatedly asks for help and says he was kidnapped.
