Honda<\/strong> have officially parted ways ahead of the seventh round of the 2025 <em data-start=\"429\" data-end=\"459\">World Superbike Championship<\/em> at Donington Park. Mackenzie joined the team in 2023 in the <em data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"558\">World Supersport Championship<\/em>. His win at Most was historic amid a turbulent season, but he finished 18th overall.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"1032\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Mackenzie was promoted to the <em data-start=\"717\" data-end=\"734\">superbike class<\/em> in 2024, but his career has been difficult. He finished 23rd last year, with a best result of 11th at Assen. This 2025, he also recorded a 9th place at Assen. He scored nine points this season before leaving the team.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1506\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Mackenzie said, \u201cI would like to thank Midori, Sandro, and the entire <strong data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1141\">PETRONAS MIE Racing Honda Team<\/strong>. Even though it was tough, there are positive memories like the win at Most and <em data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1233\">top ten finish<\/em> at Assen this year. I always give 100% and maximum effort, but maybe a new direction will be good for the team and my own career. It will be sad to part ways, but there are many good memories. I hope they can still win the remaining races.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1508\" data-end=\"1866\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Now, Mackenzie is expected to be linked with a possible return to <strong data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1584\">BSB<\/strong>, especially since the seat at Hager PBM Ducati is vacant after Glenn Irwin's accident. Mackenzie is best known for his career with Yamaha, where he had 16 wins and 27 podiums. He won the <strong data-start=\"1792\" data-end=\"1810\">2021 BSB title<\/strong> after battling with his teammate all season.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"2010\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The second part of the 2025 BSB season will be held at Knockhill from July 4-6.
