Now, it can change <strong data-start=\"358\" data-end=\"389\">bank transfer receipts<\/strong> with just a simple command. A <strong data-start=\"426\" data-end=\"443\">Facebook user<\/strong> warned about this after sharing how a scammer used AI to <strong data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"568\">change the payment amount<\/strong> in a screenshot.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"591\" data-end=\"984\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">On June 17, a netizen posted a screenshot of the conversation on ChatGPT. In it, the sender requested to change the amount stated in the <strong data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"747\">proof of payment<\/strong> to a higher amount. According to the user, \u201c<strong data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"805\">Be careful<\/strong>. Always check if the money actually entered your account.\u201d He also mentioned that he was fooled after receiving the screenshot but no money entered his account.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"986\" data-end=\"1348\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Sa loob ng ilang minuto, nabago ng AI ang <strong data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1127\">transfer amount<\/strong>, pero naiwan pa rin ang ibang detalye gaya ng <strong data-start=\"1174\" data-end=\"1194\">reference number<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1196\" data-end=\"1204\">oras<\/strong>, at <strong data-start=\"1209\" data-end=\"1225\">account name<\/strong>. Napansin nila na ang mga pekeng larawan ay nasa <strong data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1289\">PNG format<\/strong>, may mataas na <strong data-start=\"1305\" data-end=\"1319\">resolution<\/strong>, at kakaibang <strong data-start=\"1334\" data-end=\"1347\">file name<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1350\" data-end=\"1576\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">It's also important to note that even though the <strong data-start=\"1385\" data-end=\"1405\">full screenshot<\/strong> has time, battery, and signal icons, <strong data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1477\">the AI \u200b\u200bstill edits it<\/strong> to focus on the transaction itself. Because of this, it's harder to spot if the receipt is fake.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1578\" data-end=\"1901\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">To avoid scams, <strong data-start=\"1610\" data-end=\"1619\">GCash<\/strong> advises <strong data-start=\"1623\" data-end=\"1653\">verify fund transfers<\/strong> in the app itself and not rely on screenshots alone. Also, check the <strong data-start=\"1720\" data-end=\"1740\">reference number<\/strong> on each transaction.
