According to <strong data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"468\">Atty. Joel Mahinay of the <strong data-start=\"472\" data-end=\"520\">Union of Peoples\u2019 Lawyers in Mindanao (UPLM)<\/strong>, this is a \"trap\" whose sole purpose is to <strong data-start=\"569\" data-end=\"595\">delay the trial<\/strong> so that the public will tire out and forget about the issue when the <strong data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"679\" data-is-only-node=\"\">2028 elections come<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"1059\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"720\">Atty. Arvin Dexter Lopoz<\/strong>, spokesperson for UPLM, said it would be better if the House of Representatives <strong data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"814\">returned the articles of impeachment to the Senate<\/strong> to force the senators to continue the trial. He said <strong data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"979\">filing the case in the SC would only cause further delay<\/strong> and could be used as a legal excuse to avoid facing the charges.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1399\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1101\">Atty. Romeo Cabarde Jr.<\/strong> of <strong data-start=\"1105\" data-end=\"1150\">Ateneo Public Interest and Legal Advocacy<\/strong> explained that even though the Senate's move has no clear basis in the Constitution, <strong data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1299\">it is better to use public pressure than legal action right away<\/strong>. It is possible that the delay in the SC is being used as a tactic by VP Sara's camp to avoid accountability.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1401\" data-end=\"1742\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1401\" data-end=\"1451\">One \u200b\u200bof the most anticipated parts of the impeachment<\/strong> is the issue of the <strong data-start=\"1467\" data-end=\"1496\">P2.2-billion bank account<\/strong> of VP Sara and former President Duterte at BPI Julia Vargas. According to Lopoz, this money was not seen in their <strong data-start=\"1622\" data-end=\"1630\">SALN<\/strong> and if it is discussed in the trial, it will shed light on the allegation of <strong data-start=\"1710\" data-end=\"1741\">unexplained wealth<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1744\" data-end=\"2071\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Currently, the <strong data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1818\">Office of the Solicitor General (OSG)<\/strong> also discussed that there was no <strong data-start=\"1840\" data-end=\"1855\">railroading<\/strong> in the impeachment process. According to them, <strong data-start=\"1896\" data-end=\"1933\">215 legislators voluntarily signed<\/strong> the fourth complaint, making it legal under the Constitution.
