Gen. Jean Fajardo<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"525\" data-end=\"555\">66 sacks of illegal drugs<\/strong> were confiscated from the sea off <strong data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"660\">Masinloc (Zambales), Santa Cruz (Ilocos Sur), and some parts of Pangasinan<\/strong>. The most recent discovery was a <strong data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"726\">25 kilo sack of shabu<\/strong> in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"756\" data-end=\"1005\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Fajardo said that the drugs <strong data-start=\"777\" data-end=\"808\">have similar packaging<\/strong>, which suggests that <strong data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"876\">they came from a syndicate<\/strong>, possibly connected to the <strong data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"933\">Golden Triangle syndicate<\/strong>. They were allegedly washed up in different locations due to bad weather.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1185\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">He added that there is a need to strengthen the coastal patrol with the help of the PNP Maritime Group, the Coast Guard, and the Navy to combat drugs at sea.<span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><\/p><p data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1415\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">As a reward, <strong data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1218\">P100,000<\/strong> and sacks of rice were distributed to fishermen in Bataan who were the first to discover shabu.
