She saw a chiropractor after experiencing <em data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"508\">back pain<\/em> following the removal of her <em data-start=\"542\" data-end=\"559\">breast implants<\/em>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"838\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">At first, her sessions went well. But on the third time, <em data-start=\"628\" data-end=\"648\">a different practitioner<\/em> took her in and included <em data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"704\">an adjustment to her neck<\/em>. After the \"crack,\" she immediately felt <em data-start=\"755\" data-end=\"765\">something was wrong<\/em>. The <em data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"796\">neck pain<\/em> began, and when she got home she felt like <em data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"837\">going to vomit<\/em>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"1129\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">A few weeks later, he experienced <em data-start=\"886\" data-end=\"924\">unusual visions and blackouts<\/em>. Tests revealed that he had a <em data-start=\"967\" data-end=\"996\">vertebral artery dissection<\/em>\u2014a <em data-start=\"1003\" data-end=\"1018\">tear in an artery<\/em> in his neck that <em data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1060\">could have a stroke<\/em>. He was immediately taken to the ICU. \u201c<em data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1116\">I almost died,<\/em>\u201d Klundt said.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1431\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">For a month, he was <em data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1174\">bedridden<\/em>, sleeping almost <em data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1211\">17 hours a day<\/em> and constantly in <em data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1233\">pain<\/em>. According to him, <em data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1261\">he regrets<\/em> going to the chiropractor but he would rather <em data-start=\"1314\" data-end=\"1334\">give a warning<\/em> to others. \u201cThis is not about blaming others, but for everyone to be <em data-start=\"1394\" data-end=\"1408\">aware<\/em>,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1433\" data-end=\"1696\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">A former <em data-start=\"1447\" data-end=\"1467\">fitness enthusiast<\/em>, he completely changed his lifestyle. \u201c<em data-start=\"1507\" data-end=\"1600\">I can no longer ski, ride a rollercoaster, or teach fitness classes,\u201d he added.
