She clarified that the invitation to other possible victims of the drug war to participate is not due to a lack of witnesses or evidence.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"516\" data-end=\"707\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"516\" data-end=\"587\">\u201cThe investigation in the Philippines is ongoing and there is sufficient evidence,\u201d<\/strong> Conti said. He said applications from victims who wish to participate in the ICC process are still open until August 3, 2025.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"954\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"815\">Conti also pointed out that there is a difference between a victim as a witness and a victim as a participant in the process.<\/strong> Under ICC policy, victims can participate to express their views and requests, even if they are not witnesses.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1116\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1050\">Currently, the victims are represented by the Office of Public Counsel for the Victims<\/strong> while a single legal representative is still being sought for them.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1118\" data-end=\"1224\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1118\" data-end=\"1173\">Duterte remains detained in The Hague<\/strong> after his arrest in March this year.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang ebidensya laban kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ay sapat, ayon kay Kristina Conti, isa sa mga abogado ng mga pamilya ng biktima sa ICC.
