According to Greg Pua Jr., <em data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"537\">Executive Director<\/em> of the LTO, this is against the <em data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"595\">Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act<\/em>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"826\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"724\">Anyone caught doing this could face a fine of up to <em data-start=\"636\" data-end=\"645\">\u20b110,000<\/em> and imprisonment of up to <em data-start=\"675\" data-end=\"683\">2 years<\/em>.<\/strong> <em data-start=\"755\" data-end=\"768\">CCTV cameras<\/em> will automatically notify enforcers when a covered license plate is detected.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"1104\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"875\">According to the MMDA, no one is exempt.<\/strong> Every motorist who is issued a <em data-start=\"909\" data-end=\"927\">show-cause order<\/em> has the right to explain himself in the legal process. The MMDA learned that more than 50 motorists have already tried to cover their license plates, most of them <em data-start=\"1085\" data-end=\"1103\">motorcycle riders<\/em>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1342\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1180\">NCAP implementation continues despite EDSA rehab suspension.<\/strong> According to the MMDA, the policy was reinstated by a <em data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1223\">Supreme Court<\/em> order.
