According to <strong data-start=\"339\" data-end=\"350\">police<\/strong>, the man is 31 years old and from <strong data-start=\"395\" data-end=\"409\">Ormoc City<\/strong>. He was planning to vacation on the said island.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"460\" data-end=\"702\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">When he arrived in the town of <strong data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"498\">Kawayan<\/strong>, he was <strong data-start=\"513\" data-end=\"536\">short of fare<\/strong>. Because of this, he decided to just swim to the island using a <strong data-start=\"615\" data-end=\"628\">lifebuoy<\/strong>. He wanted to continue his vacation even without enough fare.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"974\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Authorities responded immediately when he was spotted in the middle of the ocean. Fortunately, he was safely rescued before any danger arose.
