According to the report, <strong data-start=\"407\" data-end=\"421\">some men posed as tour guides<\/em> and offered the tourist services.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"716\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">While the tourist was with them, one of the men allegedly <strong data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"594\">injected her with a sleeping pill<\/strong>. The victim lost consciousness and upon waking up, she discovered that some of her <strong data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"715\">valuable belongings<\/strong> were missing.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"718\" data-end=\"913\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">This happened in an area in Makati where many tourists pass by. According to the police, the suspects used the guise of tour guides to <strong data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"897\">get close to foreigners<\/strong> and cheat them.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"1106\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">On the same day, another foreigner was also victimized after a man grabbed his cellphone while walking on the street. Authorities quickly apprehended the suspect.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1303\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1137\">The police<\/strong> reminded the public, especially tourists, to be <strong data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1235\">cautious when talking to strangers<\/strong> and to make sure the tour guides they hire are registered.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang isang turistang Pranses ay naging biktima ng panlilinlang sa Makati City.
