In the incident, <strong data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"446\">three people died<\/strong> while <strong data-start=\"454\" data-end=\"474\">seven were injured<\/strong>. In the dashcam video, the truck can be seen speeding before it <strong data-start=\"541\" data-end=\"554\">overturned<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"589\" data-is-only-node=\"\">the container van<\/strong> fell onto the road.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"603\" data-end=\"1041\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to <strong data-start=\"611\" data-end=\"622\">police<\/strong>, among those hit by the truck were a <strong data-start=\"667\" data-end=\"676\">car<\/strong>, an <strong data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"691\">AUV<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"718\">three motorcycles<\/strong>. It also hit a <strong data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"755\">light pole<\/strong>, causing heavy <strong data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"795\">traffic<\/strong> in the area. One of the deceased was <strong data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"859\">an unidentified man<\/strong>, while the other was <strong data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"925\">a 38-year-old man waiting at the waiting shed<\/strong>. The third victim was a <strong data-start=\"957\" data-end=\"993\">49-year-old motorcycle rider<\/strong> who was declared <strong data-start=\"1010\" data-end=\"1029\">dead on arrival<\/strong> at the hospital.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1474\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">A <strong data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1069\">motorcycle rider<\/strong> suffered injuries to his <strong data-start=\"1094\" data-end=\"1120\">face, hand, and knee<\/strong>, while the <strong data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1152\">car driver<\/strong> complained of <strong data-start=\"1167\" data-end=\"1186\">chest pain<\/strong> after the collision. According to witnesses, <strong data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1254\">the truck was going too fast<\/strong> and it seemed <strong data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1289\">the brakes went off<\/strong> before the collision. The <strong data-start=\"1326\" data-end=\"1342\">truck driver<\/strong> said that <strong data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1375\">the brakes suddenly failed<\/strong> even though they were newly repaired. He came from <strong data-start=\"1418\">Manila<\/strong> and was heading to <strong data-start=\"1444\" data-end=\"1456\">Marikina<\/strong> to make a delivery.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1476\" data-end=\"1732\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1476\" data-end=\"1500\">The driver apologized<\/strong> and said <strong data-start=\"1524\" data-end=\"1549\">he had no intention<\/strong> of causing this. <strong data-start=\"1567\" data-end=\"1601\">He is now in the custody of the QCPD<\/strong> and will be charged with <strong data-start=\"1618\" data-end=\"1672\">reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1674\" data-end=\"1704\">multiple physical injuries<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"1731\">damage to property<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang malagim na aksidente ay nangyari sa Batasan-San Mateo Road, Quezon City nitong Miyerkoles ng gabi, kung saan isang 18-wheeler truck ang nawalan ng preno at inararo ang limang sasakyan.
