He's great at flattering\u2014well, making people laugh. You wouldn't think he had a hidden agenda.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"883\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">We met on a dating app. He said he was 25\u2014I was 30. I wasn't too conscious of the age gap because he was a mature guy, and he seemed to have a dream in life. He said he was in sales. I even said to myself, \u201cWow, there's a drive in life.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"885\" data-end=\"1117\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">At first, he was always the one who invited me out. But I noticed, on the third date, he suddenly lost his wallet. \u201cBabe, it\u2019s embarrassing, but maybe we can borrow some money to pay for coffee,\u201d he said while grinning.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1197\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">I, of course, was giving. I didn't pay attention right away. It was just once, right?<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1474\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">But as the days went by, it became more frequent. For loading. For Grab. For groceries. It got to the point that I even had to pay off his debt to his friend. And the cruelest thing? He said he needed to buy a new phone for the \u201conline racket.\u201d Guess what? Always busy, always having an excuse. But when it comes to money, he suddenly becomes active. But it got to the point where I asked myself: \u201cHow long will I pay for attention and love?\u201d<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2079\" data-end=\"2199\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">So, one night, I confronted him.
