The alleged kidnapping in Lapu-Lapu, just a family drama?<\/strong><\/span>
According to Barangay Captain Ruben V. Patigdas Sr. of Subabasbas, it is possible that what happened on the night of May 19 in Sitio Suba Panas was not a real kidnapping, but simply a family dispute. They reportedly received a call around 7:30 p.m. and immediately responded as part of their duty.<\/span><\/p>

Captain Patigdas learned that the victims \u2014 a woman and two children \u2014 were from the neighboring town of Cordova and not residents of Subabasbas. Some said they were good swimmers before the incident.<\/span><\/p>
