Their friend L is always by their side \u2014 <em data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"537\">loyal, caring, and always there<\/em>. But K never expected L to <em data-start=\"568\" data-end=\"581\">fall in love<\/em> with Z. Until one night, L admitted it.<\/span><br data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"634\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">\u201cI didn\u2019t mean to, K\u2026 but I love her,\u201d L whispered.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"1041\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"749\">K chose friendship over love.<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"752\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">He quietly ended his relationship with Z, <em data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"844\">though he didn't tell her the real reason<\/em>. Z, heartbroken, gradually learned to love L \u2014 <em data-start=\"909\" data-end=\"1004\">not like the fire he felt for K, but a kind of love that was peaceful and steadfast<\/em>. Until L passed away from cancer. At the funeral, Z read a poem he wrote when he was seventeen \u2014 <em data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1349\">about a woman with a musical eye and a lively laugh<\/em>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1352\" data-end=\"1681\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1352\" data-end=\"1394\">After the ceremony, K approached.<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"1394\" data-end=\"1397\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">\u201cYou still remember,\u201d he said softly.<\/span><br data-start=\"1433\" data-end=\"1436\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">\u201cI haven\u2019t forgotten,\u201d Z replied.<\/span><br data-start=\"1471\" data-end=\"1474\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">They talked for a long time \u2014 about L, the past, and the words that were left unsaid.<\/span><br data-start=\"1570\" data-end=\"1573\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">\u201cHe knows,\u201d Z said. \u201cThat you were my first loved.\u201d<\/span><br data-start=\"1628\" data-end=\"1631\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">\u201cUntil now, I still love you,\u201d whispered K.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1683\" data-end=\"1958\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1683\" data-end=\"1768\">They look different, their steps are slower, but their feelings haven't changed.<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"1771\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Now, <em data-start=\"1779\" data-end=\"1798\">there are no more obstacles<\/em>.<\/span><br data-start=\"1799\" data-end=\"1802\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1802\" data-end=\"1811\">Lesson:<\/strong> Sometimes, the right person comes at the wrong time.
