According to reports, its owner <strong data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"560\">Melco Resorts &amp; Entertainment<\/strong>, led by <strong data-start=\"578\" data-end=\"593\">Lawrence Ho<\/strong>, is looking for a buyer for their stake in the casino. They may <strong data-start=\"673\" data-end=\"721\">partially or completely withdraw from the Philippines<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"974\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">On <strong data-start=\"730\" data-end=\"740\">May 8<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"791\">Chief Financial Officer Geoff Davis<\/strong> said that interested <strong data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"828\">buyers<\/strong> had begun submitting documents for the <strong data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"901\">pre-bid process<\/strong>. This includes signing <strong data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"973\">non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"1277\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Just in February, Lawrence Ho mentioned plans to adopt a <strong data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1071\">light asset strategy<\/strong>\u2014a move that could potentially lead to <strong data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1148\">exiting the Philippine market<\/strong>. Following this, they issued a statement saying they were <strong data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1246\">evaluating their options<\/strong> for City of Dreams Manila.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1279\" data-end=\"1607\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">One \u200b\u200bof the potential buyers is <strong data-start=\"1327\" data-end=\"1341\">Belle Corp<\/strong>, their casino partner. Belle owns the land on which COD stands and has a half-share in its operations.
