This move is in accordance with the directive of Department of Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"445\" data-end=\"773\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to LTO Chief Vigor Mendoza, not only have their licenses been revoked but they will also be subject to <strong data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"588\">perpetual disqualification<\/strong>, which means they will not be able to obtain a new license. Mendoza said the decision is part of an effort to maintain the safety of motorists on the road.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"775\" data-end=\"1040\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Mendoza stated that driver\u2019s licenses are not a right, but a <strong data-start=\"857\" data-end=\"872\">privilege<\/strong> granted by the government on the condition of being a responsible driver. He also assured that their action against those <strong data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"1029\">violators<\/strong> of the law will continue.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1227\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Recently, the LTO also announced the revocation of the license of a bus driver who was involved in a car accident on the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) after refusing to take a drug test.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) ay nagbawi ng lisensiya sa 98 na tsuper ng bus na nagpositibo sa paggamit ng iligal na droga noong Semana Santa.
