According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire reached <strong data-start=\"460\" data-end=\"504\">second alarm at around 4:58 a.m.<\/strong> and was brought under control <strong data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"549\">by 5:54 a.m.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"827\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to a resident, <strong data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"600\">Rodolfo Torente<\/strong>, they did not save any belongings because the fire spread quickly. He said the fire started in his <strong data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"634\">cousin's<\/strong> house, which is supposedly an old house. \u201cIt came from my cousin's house... it's an old house,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"829\" data-end=\"1055\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">He even tried to get some things but his son stopped him because <strong data-start=\"909\" data-end=\"949\">there was only one alley out<\/strong> and they might not be able to get out. \u201cMy son called me, because we had nowhere to run,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1057\" data-end=\"1314\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Another resident, <strong data-start=\"1080\" data-end=\"1101\">Melodina Bautista<\/strong>, was woken up by her son because of the fire. As she was going downstairs, <strong data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1205\">a hot cloth fell on her<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1209\" data-end=\"1247\">part of her head was burned.<\/strong> \u201cWhen I went downstairs, something like a cloth fell on me \u2014 hot,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1316\" data-end=\"1410\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1316\" data-end=\"1354\">The fire was extinguished at around 7:33 a.m.<\/strong> Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.<\/span><\/p><hr class=\"\" data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1415\"><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1417\" data-end=\"1485\">&nbsp;<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang isang residential area sa Manuyo Uno, Las Pi\u00f1as City ay nasunog nitong madaling-araw ng Martes, Mayo 6.
