Many of them, like <strong data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"474\">Khaled<\/strong>, a nine-month-old boy, are suffering from <strong data-start=\"539\" data-end=\"555\">malnutrition<\/strong>. Khaled weighs just <strong data-start=\"592\" data-end=\"602\">5 kilos<\/strong>, even though he has had this condition for two months, according to a report by the <strong data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"709\">Associated Press (AP)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"712\" data-end=\"1133\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Despite the treatment Khaled received at Gaza's <strong data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"779\">pediatric hospital<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"811\" data-end=\"841\">food and medicine supplies<\/strong> are still lacking. His mother, <strong data-start=\"863\" data-end=\"881\">Wedad Abdelaal<\/strong>, said the aid they receive is still not enough. Gaza's borders have been closed for three months, and most residents are relying on aid, but there is not enough food in warehouses.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1533\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">As the number of children falling ill increases, <strong data-start=\"1188\" data-end=\"1211\">nutritional centers<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1241\">community kitchens<\/strong> are also closed due to <strong data-start=\"1272\" data-end=\"1281\">bombs<\/strong> and a lack of <strong data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1309\">supplies<\/strong>. According to <strong data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1329\">UNICEF<\/strong>, more than <strong data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1354\">9,000 children<\/strong> have been treated for malnutrition this year, and the number continues to rise. Many parents are also <strong data-start=\"1464\" data-end=\"1481\">sharing<\/strong> limited medications for their children.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1535\" data-end=\"1811\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The <strong data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1580\">World Health Organization (WHO)<\/strong> has said that there is a <strong data-start=\"1588\" data-end=\"1609\">grave risk<\/strong> of <strong data-start=\"1613\" data-end=\"1632\">mass starvation<\/strong> in Gaza, and if no action is taken, millions of children <strong data-start=\"1698\" data-end=\"1711\">will suffer<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"1714\" data-end=\"1727\">will die<\/strong>.
