According to the <strong data-start=\"383\" data-end=\"425\">Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Manila<\/strong>, the fire started around <strong data-start=\"434\" data-end=\"459\">midnight<\/strong> and quickly spread to the houses.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"520\" data-end=\"813\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Within <strong data-start=\"531\" data-end=\"553\">twenty minutes<\/strong>, the incident was immediately escalated to <strong data-start=\"571\" data-end=\"591\">Task Force Alpha<\/strong>. <strong data-start=\"627\" data-end=\"653\">more than 25 fire trucks<\/strong> from the BFP responded immediately and were assisted by <strong data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"706\">100 fire volunteers<\/strong>. The fire spread quickly because the houses were <strong data-start=\"739\" data-end=\"766\">made of light materials<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"800\">close to each other<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"1114\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The narrow passageway in the area posed a <strong data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"846\">challenge for firefighters<\/strong>. Fire trucks had difficulty entering and water supply was <strong data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"953\">slow due to the distance from the fire hydrant. According to <strong data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1032\">Fire Senior Inspector Leslie Ramos<\/strong>, the operation was difficult due to <strong data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1090\">the narrow alleyway<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1094\" data-end=\"1113\">the lack of water<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1116\" data-end=\"1358\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The BFP said the fire started on the <strong data-start=\"1151\" data-end=\"1173\">fourth floor<\/strong> of a house. One of the affected residents, <strong data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1251\">Deedang Abdurahman<\/strong>, lost his house and belongings. \"We lost nothing. Even my children's birth certificates were left behind,\" he said.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1556\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1388\">Before 6 a.m.<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1427\">Fire Under Control<\/strong> was declared. <strong data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1472\">The BFP-Manila investigation<\/strong> is continuing to determine the <strong data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1508\">cause of the fire<\/strong> and if anyone <strong data-start=\"1521\" data-end=\"1542\">was injured or killed<\/strong> in the incident.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mahigit 300 pamilya ang naapektuhan matapos ang malaking sunog sa Barangay 650, Port Area, Maynila kaninang madaling araw.
