The Porsche 911 GT3<\/strong> is now the fastest manual car<\/strong> on the N\u00fcrburgring Nordschleife<\/strong>, after clocking a 6:56.294 lap time<\/strong>. J\u00f6rg Bergmeister<\/strong>, a Porsche brand ambassador<\/strong>, drove the car and beat the previous record by more 9.5 seconds<\/strong>, despite his opponent having a more powerful engine.<\/span><\/p>

With the Weissach Package<\/strong> and 6-speed manual gearbox<\/strong>, the new GT3 outperformed the previous model with PDK transmission<\/strong> by more than 3.6 seconds<\/strong>. Even though the engine is the same 510 hp<\/strong>, the shorter gear ratio<\/strong> and improved suspension<\/strong> contribute to faster acceleration and cornering.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
