data-end=\"328\">expected to be flooded with about 2.5 million passengers<\/strong> from <strong data-start=\"334\" data-end=\"363\">April 9 to April 23<\/strong>, as many Filipinos return to their provinces for <strong data-start=\"430\" data-end=\"465\">Holy Week and Araw ng Kagitingan<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"468\" data-end=\"694\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">April 9, Araw ng Kagitingan, is a <strong data-start=\"472\" data-end=\"483\">regular holiday<\/strong>. Many <strong data-start=\"514\" data-end=\"533\">Filipino Catholics<\/strong> are also expected to return home to observe <strong data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"628\">Semana Santa<\/strong>, so crowds are expected at terminals like PITX.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"981\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to PITX, the number of passengers will gradually increase as <strong data-start=\"777\" data-end=\"796\">Maundy Thursday<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"800\" data-end=\"815\">Good Friday<\/strong> approach, which are usually the busiest travel days. Many are also expected to return to Metro Manila from <strong data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"939\">April 21 to 23<\/strong>, to resume <strong data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"980\">work and classes<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1227\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">PITX is working with <strong data-start=\"1013\" data-end=\"1042\">DOTr, LTFRB, LTO, and MMDA<\/strong> to ensure <strong data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1101\">a safe and smooth ride for everyone<\/strong>. <strong data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1152\">LTFRB will add public utility buses<\/strong>, while <strong data-start=\"1174\" data-end=\"1207\">MMDA will assist in traffic management<\/strong> around PITX.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1386\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The <strong data-start=\"1233\" data-end=\"1240\">PNP<\/strong> will also send <strong data-start=\"1267\" data-end=\"1308\">personnel to monitor security<\/strong> at the terminal and ensure <strong data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1362\">passengers are safe<\/strong> during the holiday season.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/article><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PITX o Para\u00f1aque Integrated Terminal Exchange ay inaasahang dadagsain ng humigit-kumulang 2.5 milyong pasahero mula April 9 hanggang April 23, habang maraming Pinoy ang uuwi sa kanilang mga probinsya para sa Holy Week at Araw ng Kagitingan.Ang April 9, Araw ng Kagitingan, ay isang regular holiday.
