Province noong <strong data-start=\"373\" data-end=\"393\">Biyernes ng gabi<\/strong>. Ayon sa pulisya, ang van ay nahulog mula sa <strong data-start=\"439\" data-end=\"459\" data-is-only-node=\"\">50-meter na taas<\/strong> at lumagpak sa ilog sa bahagi ng Ampawilen, Poblacion.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"518\" data-end=\"877\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The victims included <strong data-start=\"555\" data-end=\"591\">three men and two women<\/strong> who were <strong data-start=\"595\" data-end=\"615\">dead on the spot<\/strong>. The nine injured were brought to the <strong data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"660\">Bontoc General Hospital<\/strong> for treatment. According to the investigation, there were <strong data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"749\">12 tourists<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"751\" data-end=\"777\">a tour coordinator<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"786\" data-end=\"796\">driver<\/strong> in the van that was headed to <strong data-start=\"818\" data-end=\"839\">Buscalan, Kalinga<\/strong> to visit <strong data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"874\">Apo Whang Od<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"1106\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The PNP Cordillera said that a <strong data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"925\">flat tire<\/strong> may have caused the accident, but the actual cause is still being investigated. The road was not slippery and was paved, but a <strong data-start=\"1077\" data-end=\"1094\">metal scratch<\/strong> was found in the area.<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\" data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1329\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to the driver's wife, she had a dream that an accident had happened the night before her husband left.
