A <\/span>31-year-old delivery rider<\/b> was arrested on <\/span>March 15, 2025<\/b>, at <\/span>Wawa Street, Alabang, Muntinlupa City<\/b> for a case of <\/span>homicide<\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

According to <\/span>PLt. Michael Guanzon<\/b>, officer-in-charge of the <\/span>Warrant and Subpoena Section<\/b> of the Para\u00f1aque City Police, the crime occurred on <\/span>November 2024<\/b> at a <\/span>basketball court<\/b> in <\/span>Barangay Marcelo Green<\/b>, Para\u00f1aque City.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Guanzon said the accused was with two other people when the incident occurred. The delivery rider was reportedly just out of town and was invited by another accused.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

There was allegedly an <\/span>argument<\/b>while the accused and the victim were drinking separately.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>

Using a <\/span>four finger brass knuckle<\/b>, the accused punched the victim.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\"There were three of them, they helped the victim,\" said Guanzon.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

But according to Guanzon, <\/span>the alcohol bottle hit the head<\/b> was the cause of the victim's death.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The victim's mother herself filed a complaint against the suspects.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The delivery rider admitted to the assault but defended himself, saying he only retaliated because the victim had also hurt him.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The accused is currently detained at the Para\u00f1aque City Police's custodial facility unit, while the police are also searching for the two other suspects.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Police remind people to <\/span>avoid conflict<\/b> or <\/span>confrontation<\/b> to avoid trouble.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
