The Philippine National Police (PNP) has arrested one of the suspects involved in the shooting death of two police officers on March 8, 2025 during a buy-bust operation in Bocaue, Bulacan.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

According to the PNP, the suspect is a <\/span>38-year-old<\/b> man from <\/span>Pandi, Bulacan<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The following were recovered from him:<\/span><\/p>

  • .38 caliber revolver<\/b><\/span><\/li>
  • Grenade<\/b><\/span><\/li>
  • Motorcycle with sidecar<\/b><\/span><\/li>
  • Money<\/b> used in the operation<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    The search for the other suspects is still ongoing. Authorities have also found a <\/span>motorcycle<\/b> that they allegedly used to escape from <\/span>Barangay Bunsuran II<\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Police Staff Sergeants Dennis Cudiamat and Gian George Dela Cruz were killed in the incident. Cudiamat died on the spot while Dela Cruz died while receiving treatment at the hospital.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    According to the report, the police were conducting a <\/span>buy-bust operation<\/b> in <\/span>Sitio Tugatog, NIA Road, Barangay Tambubong, Bocaue, Bulacan<\/b> when they were suddenly shot by the suspect.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    After the shooting, the suspect took Cudiamat's gun before fleeing towards the town of Pandi.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    The PNP commended the <\/span>courage<\/b>and <\/span>dedication<\/b>of the two police officers in their service. The PNP also assured the victims' families that they will achieve <\/span>justice<\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
