Chevrolet<\/b> introduced the new <\/span>Silverado EV ZR2<\/b> off-road <\/span>race truck concept<\/b> in <\/span>Mint 400<\/b>. It will compete in the Open Production EV class, driven by Chad Hall as part of the Hall Racing team. This truck joins the Chevrolet lineup including the Silverado ZR2 and Colorado ZR2.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Using the successful <\/span>ZR2 formula<\/b>, the <\/span>Silverado EV ZR2<\/b> has a <\/span>lifted suspension<\/b>, <\/span>Multimatic damper technology<\/b>, <\/span>locking differentials<\/b>, and <\/span>underbody skid protection<\/b> for off-road durability. Even though it was just a concept truck, it was built in 5 months using 98% GM production parts.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

It is installed with a <\/span>tri-motor electric system<\/b> with <\/span>1,100 HP<\/b> and <\/span>11,500 lb-ft torque<\/b>. It has <\/span>37-inch BF Goodrich KM3 Mud-Terrain tires<\/b> and uses <\/span>Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve dampers<\/b> for more <\/span>extreme off-road performance<\/b> and more <\/span>13 inches of wheel travel<\/b> front and back.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Chevrolet engineers<\/b> will join the <\/span>Hall Racing team<\/b> at the Mint 400 to gather <\/span>real-world data<\/b> to be used in the development of <\/span>future production vehicles<\/b>, <\/span>performance parts<\/b>, and <\/span>accessories<\/b>.
