To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic Prospex watch, Seiko has released a <\/span>three limited edition<\/b> models: <\/span>Prospex Marinemaster \u201cShinkai\u201d 60th Anniversary 600m Saturation Diver, Prospex 1968 Heritage Diver\u2019s GMT 60th Anniversary, and Prospex 1965 Heritage Diver\u2019s 60th Anniversary<\/b>. Each model has a unique design and advanced features for diver\u2019s watch enthusiasts.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In <\/span>1965<\/span>, a <\/span>professional diver<\/span>gave feedback to Seiko that watches were easily damaged underwater. As a result, the brand created the <\/span>first Japanese diver\u2019s watch<\/span>with<\/span>automatic movement<\/span>and<\/span>150m water resistance<\/span>. Now, as a tribute to their first diver\u2019s watch, Seiko has released the Prospex 1965 Heritage Diver\u2019s 60th Anniversary, inspired by the \u201c62MAS\u201d 1965 Diver. It features a 6R55 automatic caliber, 3-day power reserve, and 300m water resistance, and its design is based on Hokusai\u2019s iconic \u201cThe Great Wave.\u201d<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The <\/span>Prospex 1968 Heritage Diver\u2019s GMT 60th Anniversary<\/b>, in turn, has a unique <\/span>dial pattern<\/b> and a caseback with <\/span>wave design<\/b> as a tribute to the <\/span>1968 Diver<\/b>\u2014Seiko's first <\/span>one-piece case hi-beat diver's watch<\/b> with <\/span>300m water resistance<\/b> 400;\">. It is also the first model to feature a short-pitch bracelet with micro-adjustable clasps, for a more comfortable fit.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Meanwhile, the most high-tech of all, the <\/span>Prospex Marinemaster \u201cShinkai\u201d 60th Anniversary 600m Saturation Diver<\/b>, was made at the <\/span>Shizukuishi Watch Studio<\/b>. It has a <\/span>titanium case<\/b>, <\/span>superhard coating<\/b> for <\/span>scratch resistance<\/b>, and <\/span>8L45 movement<\/b> for higher performance. Its name \"Shinkai\" means \"deep sea\", which is why it has a blue dial that reflects the deep ocean.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The new Seiko Prospex 60th Anniversary Limited Edition watches are priced from \u00a31,270 to \u00a34,130 GBP, which is equivalent to approximately \u20b193,700 to \u20b1304,800. In US dollars, prices range between $1,637 and $5,323 USD, which is approximately \u20b193,800 to \u20b1305,100. These prices are based on current exchange rates as of March 6, 2025.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
