The new sequel series <\/span>Avatar: Seven Havens<\/b> is officially <\/span>greenlit<\/b>. The animated show will have 26 episodes divided into two seasons. This news comes in celebration of the 20th anniversary of <\/span>The Last Airbender<\/span><\/i>, which first aired on February 21, 2005.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Under <\/span>Avatar Studios<\/b> of <\/span>Nickelodeon Animation<\/b>, <\/span> is currently in production. 400;\">Seven Havens<\/span><\/i>. The <\/span>co-creators<\/b> of <\/span>Avatar<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko<\/b>, will lead the project. The story takes place <\/span>after the events of Legend of Korra<\/b>, where a <\/span>young Earthbender<\/b> discovers he is the new <\/span>Avatar<\/b> after Korra. But in this new world, being an Avatar isn't a blessing\u2014instead, he's considered a <\/span>threat to humanity<\/b>. Enemies from the human and spirit worlds are after him, so he must, along with his long-lost twin, discover their origins and save the <\/span>Seven Havens<\/b> before the rest of civilization collapses.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
