Royal Enfield, the world's top motorcycle brand, is entering the world of electric vehicles (EV) and has announced its first electric motorbike \u2013 the Flying Flea.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Indian motorcycle company \u2013 originally founded in England in 1901 \u2013 has teamed up with technology giant Qualcomm to create a custom version of the \u201cCar-to-Cloud Platform\u201d operating system for motorcycles, resulting in an experience dedicated and fully adapted for two wheels. Royal Enfield and Qualcomm's collaboration will also lead to the introduction of a new chip, the Snapdragon QWM2290, which will debut at the Flying Flea.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

During a roundtable at CES 2025, Royal Enfield's Mario Alvisi told Hypebeast that the two brands' partnership is the \"perfect fusion of authentic design and cutting-edge technology.\" Alvisi went on to say that one of his goals is to turn Royal Enfield's EV bikes into a \"valuable asset\", something he thinks will be made easier by over-the-air technology updates, which will provide road to the motorcycle brand to keep updating and improving the bike remotely.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
