In the latest chapter of their powerful partnership, Maserati and Hiroshi Fujiwara have teamed up to design the first bespoke supercar in the brand's Fuoriserie By collection.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The new series is inspired by the Trident customization program, with the same name Fuoriserie, which gives customers the opportunity to tailor and transform their prospective supercars into a unique vehicle. In celebration of this service, Fuoriserie By will encourage past Maserati collaborators to give their own style to the most famous models they have produced to date.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

For his exclusive edition, Fujiwara chose the MC20 Cielo as the base for his designs. With his passion for classic cars \u2013 which he revealed to Hypebeast in 2021 \u2013 the Fragment founder presented two sleek and minimalist versions of the supercar that simultaneously represent the streetwear label's iconic aesthetic. The first has a full \u201cNero Vulcano\u201d color, while the second has a clean \u201cBianco Audace\u201d that provides a yin-yang combination.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In a first from Maserati, the Trident symbol normally placed on the tonneau cover at the rear of the vehicle has been replaced by the Fragment's signature lightning bolt. As a subtle edge, the emblem has been placed on the car using a matte version of its respective color, which smoothly penetrates the glossy-finish car bodies.<\/span><\/p><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Inside, the monochromatic theme is continued. The 6-way power seat interiors are wrapped in black leather with white stitching and an embroidered Trident logo on the headrest. Other parts of the vehicle such as the sport steering wheel and armrest are also coated in this style, while the metal plate between the headrest adds a touch of authenticity. On the technical side, both models retain the MC20 Cielo's F1-derived V6 Nettuno engine, giving the striking car the high performance it deserves.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In a statement from Klaus Busse, Maserati's Head of Design, he expressed his desire for the collection to showcase the possibilities of the Trident customization program, saying, \u201cOur desire here is for clients to express their personality and passion by building their own Maserati. Like Hiroshi, everyone can choose from a wide range of personalization features from our Fuoriserie collections or try a more personal journey to design truly unique rolling sculptures.\u201d<\/span><\/p>
