The first and second films were shot back-to-back and saw the return of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo as Glinda and Elphaba, respectively. The second movie picks up right after the events of \u201cDefying Gravity.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The first film grossed over $525 million USD at the global box office, becoming one of the most successful films of the year. The film has already entered the Top 15 of Universal's titles in the market and globally, it is the biggest non-sequel of the year, and the No. 2 stage adaptation of the history following Mamma Mia!. Wicked: For Good is coming in November next year.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
